Ukraine is successfully utilizing 31 out of 40 tariff quotas for various agricultural products, including processed cereals, eggs, poultry, and starch, in the European market. The government, led by Deputy Prime Minister Olga Stefanishyna, is actively working to enhance the Association Agreement with the EU to provide more opportunities for Ukrainian producers. Despite the COVID-19-related disruptions, there is an optimistic outlook for the future of Ukrainian agricultural exports. The government encourages businesses to assess their goals and communicate them to ensure the renewed Agreement addresses their needs, focusing on key areas such as the Agreement on Conformity Assessment and Acceptance of Industrial Products (ACAA), trade in services, and a more flexible state aid approach.
