The new procedure defines a monthly monitoring mechanism to be carried out by the Ministry of Economy to verify the compliance of the volumes of exported products with the data contained in the State Agrarian Register regarding the actually grown products. If discrepancies are found between the declared and actually grown volumes, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine is obliged to cancel the expert opinions. “The introduction of such a mechanism guarantees that only those exporters who have actually grown the products themselves will benefit from the export duty exemption benefit,” the ministry assured.
