In February 2024, Ukraine saw a significant increase in dairy exports, with 8.5 thousand tons exported, generating $16.6 million. This represents a 22% increase in volume and 26% increase in cash turnover from January. Despite this, the export turnover of about 29 million UAH in the first two months is 14% less than the previous year. The main dairy products exported were butter and cheeses. Ukraine also imported 3.94 thousand tons of dairy products, primarily from New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, Great Britain and the European Union.
