Ukrainian hop supplies less than 20% of the consumption of brewing companies

This was reported by the participants of the round table of the Committee on Agrarian Nutrition and Land Policy on the topic “Current nutrition of the legislator to ensure the development of hop production.” Just before sunset, it was agreed that for galusa it is necessary to achieve a balance between local ham hops and imported ones. More than just regional breweries and some craft breweries are granulating hops from ham fermentation. As a result of this policy, domesticated hop plants are practically excluded from the Ukrainian market. The pureness of the domestic hop products is not compromised by foreign countries and their performance complies with both the domestic standards and the criteria established by the EU Regulations. Significant interest in the products of processing aromatic hops is on the side of craft brewing, which is still intensively developing in rich countries and in Ukraine as well.
