Ukraine has opened a new market for the export of its snails for human consumption in Georgia. The State Production and Consumer Service has agreed on the official certificate with Georgia's National Agency for Food Products. This is part of Ukraine's strategy to open access to 15 groups of its goods to foreign markets, including meat semi-finished products, milk and dairy products, pet food, entomophages, and more to countries such as Montenegro, the Dominican Republic, Kenya, Singapore, Poland, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Turkey. Additionally, the Rivne snail farm Verba ravlyk2020 has seen a 40% increase in production during the war, and snail exports increased by 47.8% in 2021.
