Ukraine's booming melon production and lower local watermelon prices have led to a decrease in demand for Uzbek watermelons, making them too expensive. This has also impacted Uzbek's dried fruit exports to Ukraine, with a significant drop in raisin and prune imports. However, dried apricot imports have increased by 72% compared to 2019. Additionally, imports of Uzbek fresh table grapes have decreased by one and a half times to 100 tons in 2020 due to a shortage of domestic products and declining yields in neighboring Moldova.
