Export requests, including those from free zones, saw a rebound in November compared to the same month last year, putting the country on track for a positive annual close for 2025 if the momentum holds in December. Official data shows a recovery focused on beef, soybeans, and dairy products, which offset declines in categories such as cellulose. Export requests totaled 1,057 million dollars, a 2% increase year-on-year. From January to November 2025, exports of goods (including free zones) amounted to 12,398 million dollars, representing a 4% year-on-year growth compared to the same period in 2024. The figures come from the foreign trade report prepared by Uruguay XXI based on data from the National Customs Directorate (DNA), Montes del Plata, UPM, and the Nueva Palmira System.
