September beef and pork exports increased by 5% and 8% in volume, and 6% and 6% in value respectively, compared to the same period last year. Despite a 2% decrease in volume, the January-September exports valued at $7.82 billion showed a 5% increase. Beef exports to Asia, excluding China/Hong Kong, and pork exports to Central America and ASEAN region experienced significant growth. However, lamb exports saw a decrease of 32% in September both in volume and value.
