Starting September 1, 2024, rice producers in Uzbekistan will be eligible for preferential loans up to 50% of the crop cost at a 14% interest rate for a year. Additionally, in 2025-2026, subsidies will be available for 20% of the cost of new seed drills and seedling sowing equipment. In the Khorezm region, subsidies for fuel and lubricants and modern water-saving technologies will also be provided. From the 2024 harvest, agricultural enterprises in the Khorezm region with a yield of at least 120 centners will be allowed to export up to 50% of the rice grown.
