On November 19, 2024, the market saw a variety in vegetable and fruit prices. Tomatoes were priced at EGP 10, red onions at EGP 20, and storage potatoes at EGP 20 instead of EGP 25 per storage, among other vegetables like onions, cucumbers, zucchini, bell and hot peppers, eggplants, carrots, and peas, with differing prices per kilo. Crates of tomatoes and other vegetables were also priced differently. Fruits such as cantaloupe, local and imported grapes, bananas, apples, pears, kiwis, avocados, peaches, watermelon, mangoes, custard, and dates, along with barhi dates, Abu Sirah oranges, persimmons, and cream, were also available with significant price variations.
