The price ranged from 10-15 pounds for tomatoes, 6-10 pounds for onions, 16-28 pounds for zucchini, 7-10 pounds for carrots, 25-35 pounds for beans, 3.5-7.5 pounds for local eggplant, 6-11 pounds for peppers, 12-14 pounds for local cucumbers, 6-10 pounds for local lemons, 20-24 pounds for taro, 4-5 pounds for molokhia, 35-60 pounds for garlic, and 30-45 pounds for okra. The Egyptian state is providing support to farmers, including soft loans, greenhouse expansion, and licensing facilitation, to aid in agricultural development and economic stability.
