Over 50 campesinos in Venezuelan Portuguesa state protested outside the Agriculture Ministry, demanding solutions to issues hindering rural production. They presented a document outlining demands, including recognition in the digital Homeland system for access to subsidized diesel and loans. The protest is part of a larger movement of agricultural demonstrations, with concerns over increased agribusiness importation of produce during harvest season and the impact of privatization and sanctions on small and mid-size producers.
