The Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Association has reported a surge in fruit and vegetable exports due to free trade agreements with the EU and UK. The UK-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (UKVFTA) has resulted in a 0% tax rate for over 94% of fruits and vegetable tax lines, providing a competitive edge for Vietnamese produce. The association has now urged for the development of a sustainable value chain, focusing on linkages from production to consumption, to enhance the efficiency and stability of the industry.
