The first secretary and chief representative of the Vietnam Trade Office in the UAE, Zhang Chunzhong, stated that from January to July 2025, Vietnam's exports to the UAE amounted to nearly $3.4 billion, a slight increase of 0.27% year-on-year. The trade surplus for the first seven months reached over $3 billion. Vietnam's main agricultural exports increased by 17.31% compared to the same period in 2024, with a total export value exceeding $232 million. Among these, cashew exports were the largest, reaching $95.9 million, an increase of 34.6%; fruit and vegetable exports reached over $69.4 million, an increase of 55.3%. Aquatic product exports reached $31 million, an increase of 20.8%. Exports of timber and wood products reached nearly $20.2 million, an increase of 26.6%.
