According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Processors (VASEP), all of the global production of ASC-certified tra fish currently comes from Vietnam. This fully demonstrates the quality and reputation of Vietnamese tra fish products in the international market, and also signifies that the industry is taking solid and powerful steps towards green and sustainable development. ASC certification is an internationally authoritative certification established by the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) to manage global standards for responsibly farmed seafood. Seafood products with ASC certification have a significant brand reputation advantage when entering demanding markets such as Germany, the UK, Switzerland, the US, and Japan. Currently, there are over 58 ASC-certified tra fish farms in Vietnam.
