According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), global meat consumption is projected to rise significantly, with an expected increase of 9.6%, reaching 358.4 million tons by 2030, up from 327 million tons in 2023. This anticipated growth spans across beef, pork, and chicken, highlighting a particularly sharp rise in Vietnam's pork consumption, which is forecasted to surge by 28.3% during this period. This projection underscores a substantial global shift towards higher meat consumption in the coming years.
