Vietnam's cashew earns 3.6 billion USD, a championship position in the US market

Of which, the US is the largest customer of Vietnamese cashew nuts. In the first 9 months of this year, exports to this market reached over 150,400 tons, earning 871.3 million USD. The amount of cashew nuts exported to the US increased by nearly 30%, while the value increased by 32.8% compared to the same period in 2023. Accordingly, the US market accounted for 27.7% of the total export value of cashew nuts of our country in the first 9 months of 2024, an increase of 2.4 percentage points over the same period last year. Data from the US International Trade Commission shows that in the first 8 months of 2024, this country spent 554.2 million USD to import about 101,300 tons of cashew nuts from Vietnam.
