In 2021, the Río Florido district in Chihuahua, Mexico, saw substantial profits from the production of alfalfa and walnuts, with a total revenue of 1,805,262,150 pesos. This was achieved across 6,520 hectares of alfalfa plantation, which yielded 562,100 tons, and 12,162 hectares of walnut plantations, which produced 12,414.60 tons. Jiménez was the leading municipality in walnut production, contributing significantly to the district's total. The revenue was distributed between the autumn-winter and spring-summer cycles, highlighting alfalfa and walnuts as the most profitable crops in the region, despite its diversity.
