REPUBLICA.CO.ID, SUKOHARJO - Deputy Minister of Agriculture (Wamentan) Sudaryono asserts that Sukoharjo Regency has strong potential to become a model region, not only in Central Java (Jateng) but also at the national level. According to Wamentan Sudaryono, also known as Mas Dar, this potential is supported by the continuously increasing surplus rice production in recent years. "Sukoharjo is blessed with fertile land and abundant water. With a little technological touch, the right seeds, and appropriate mechanization, its production capacity can increase manifold," said Wamentan Sudaryono after conducting a rice harvest in Joho Village, Mojolaban District, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java, on Monday (1/12/25).
