National College Students' Grape and Wine Science Culture Festival Opens
On November 16, the third National College Students' Grape and Wine Science Culture Festival was grandly opened at South China Agricultural University, with the core theme of "Chinese terroir, Chinese taste, Chinese culture," injecting youthful vitality into the wine industry.
In the "Most Popular Chinese Terroir Wine among College Students" tasting competition held during the festival, 100 college student judges from more than 30 universities, including Peking University and Tsinghua University, blind-tasted 225 domestic fine wines.

National-Level Luzhou-Flavor Liquor Judging Committee Annual Meeting Held
On November 20, the 2025 National-Level Luzhou-Flavor Liquor Judging Committee Annual Meeting and Luzhou-Flavor Liquor Tasting Professional Skills Enhancement Training Course was held in Yibin, Sichuan, hosted by the China Wine Industry Association and organized by Wuliangye. Yang Yunxia, Chief Engineer of Wuliangye, emphasized the need for technological innovation in Luzhou-flavor liquor. Du Xiaowei, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Wine Industry Association, pointed out that Luzhou-flavor liquor is facing a strategic opportunity period, and talent is key. Wang Xuliang, Secretary-General of the Luzhou-Flavor Liquor Branch of the China Wine Industry Association, stated that the industry is at a critical period of "breaking out of the cocoon into a butterfly," and the association will deepen talent cultivation and promote the high-quality development of Luzhou-flavor liquor.

National Baijiu Price Index Slightly Up Month-on-Month
According to the Luzhou Baijiu Price Index Office, data from the national baijiu price survey shows that the month-on-month total price index for national baijiu in mid-November was 100.03, up 0.03%. By category, the month-on-month price index for famous baijiu was 100.02, up 0.02%; the month-on-month price index for local baijiu was 100.08, up 0.08%; the month-on-month price index for base baijiu was 100.00, remaining stable.
