The Brazilian wheat market enters a decisive period in the face of the international supply scenario and the limitations of domestic availability. According to data from TF Agroeconômica, even with global abundance, the FOB prices of American hard wheat hover around 680.35 dollars per bushel, while the Argentine product remains cheaper, at 566.05 dollars, below even the closing of the Chicago Board of Trade, which ended at 578.75 dollars. This difference maintains direct pressure on domestic prices. On the other hand, commercialization is advancing at an accelerated pace. Research indicates that 42 percent of the Rio Grande do Sul crop has already been negotiated, alongside an even greater advance in Paraná, where sales reach between 92 percent and 95 percent of the available volume. This leaves 1.97 million tons in the market in Rio Grande do Sul and only between 125 thousand and 200 thousand tons in Paraná.
