In the first half of this year, Argentina has already sold more than 140,000 tons of lemons to markets such as the United States, Russia, Greece, and the Netherlands. But despite being a leading country in this sector, it had not yet managed to send these citrus fruits to one of its neighbors. In Chile, they alleged phytosanitary risks, although they were doing the opposite movement: They were selling lemons to us. After a long period of negotiations, the situation is corrected and Argentina will be able to export its fresh lemons to the neighboring country.
