Despite negative weather conditions, leading to varied impacts on agricultural yields, the Ministry of Agriculture's 2020 summary reveals significant growth in potato harvest and watermelon production, with watermelons also seeing a doubling in planted and harvested areas. However, field tomatoes and strawberries faced substantial declines in yields. Greenhouse cultivation showed positive trends, with increased production of tomatoes and cucumbers. Notably, cabbage experienced the highest price increase of 20.8% among all crops, while the prices of greenhouse tomatoes and cucumbers, potatoes, and red peppers were lower than the previous year.
