Whispers of a new engine are circulating around the Fendt house, bringing a new era.

The fifth-generation Fendt 800 Vario tractors now feature the new AGCO Power CORE80 engines, which are outstanding in performance while being incredibly economical. The venue for major announcements is the Agritechnica in Hanover, where many manufacturers and distributors time their latest developments for the biannual agricultural exhibition. AGCO Power also has some surprises in store for the event, which is scheduled for November 9–15. The American AGCO Corporation, which owns the Challenger, Fendt, Massey Ferguson, and Valtra brands, has some exciting news from its power resources division. Among other things, they will exhibit a battery concept specifically designed for machines used in fields and farms. The equipment, consisting of 1400 cells, has a capacity of 150 kWh and represents NMC technology, or a nickel-manganese-cobalt battery, which uses the aforementioned materials for its positive pole.
