The European Union cannot publish the processing price of white sugar per member country for data protection reasons, so it forms three regional average prices from the data reported by the member countries and makes them public. In November, the average price of region 1 (Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden, Slovakia) was 619 euros/ton (+5 percent).
