Rural producers across Brazil have been facing a growing challenge in recent harvests: the increasing resistance of weeds to herbicides. This phenomenon, driven mainly by the repetitive use of products with the same mechanism of action, already accounts for 58 confirmed cases in the country, involving 29 resistant species, such as buva, caruru, bittergrass, and chicken foot grass. In light of this scenario, integrated management emerges as the most effective and sustainable alternative to preserve productivity and avoid economic losses in the medium and long term.
