However, a large part of the livestock farmers complain that due to the drought and constant bans, it is increasingly difficult for them to gather food for their animals during the winter. During the Annual Meeting of Sheep Farmers organized by the National Sheep and Goat Association (NSGAA), the issue was again a topic of conversation. "My pasture is in Natura 2000 and every year until July 15 I can't mow because of the endangered species on the pasture territory. But this year, due to the drought and the danger of fires, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food (MAF) issued an order from July 1 to September 1 prohibiting mowing during the day," Eric Borisov told representatives of the MAF.
