Fishermen from Ahtopol report an unusually poor catch, and the markets offer mainly imported fish from Greece, Norway, and the Mediterranean. Ahtopol is beautiful even in winter, but days before St. Nicholas Day, the fishermen's nets are empty. Only a few boats go out to sea, returning without the heavy catch usual for the season. Most of the vessels have already been moored on the shore. According to 80-year-old fisherman Todor Lyubenov, such a poor year has not happened before.
