For 40 years, Javier Cersosimo has been dedicated to beekeeping in southern Córdoba. He is one of the few beekeepers still active who lived through the golden age in that area, when it was known as the "star" of honey production. Unfortunately, today that is just a memory. "When I started with the hives, this was a mixed exploitation area. There was agriculture, livestock, and dairy farming, and a lot of pasture was sown. For the past 25 years, with direct sowing, the beekeeping world has changed for the worse," he recounted, reviewing his long experience with Bichos de Campo.
