With Growing Demand, India is ready to export Pomegranate to Australia

For improving relations and promoting trade between two countries, India is all set to export pomegranate to Australia. The move comes after several negotiations, months of discussion, and completion of necessary protocols and finally both the countries are ready for export and import. Australia is ready to welcome Indian pomegranates following an import-risk assessment involving significant collaboration and some discussions between authorities of both the countries. The reason for this growing demand of pomegranate is its use in cooking shows and restaurants. And Australia’s High Commissioner, Barry O’Farrell said that this demand can be partly met by India’s exports.
