Hai Duong province in Vietnam has exported 100 tons of lychees to Japan and is expecting to export 1,000 tons more, along with 4,000 tons to the US, Australia, Singapore, and the EU. All exports meet the import market's strict requirements and are sold at a high price in Japan. Despite the COVID-19 impact, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development have implemented solutions to find both domestic and export markets. The first batch of Thanh Ha and Hai Duong Thieu Thieu lychees has been exported to the EU under the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the EU.
