Wheat prices in Brazil's southern states have remained stable ahead of a stock replenishment in mid-April, with producers focusing on the summer harvest and showing reluctance to negotiate. The average price for FOB inland is R$ 1,650/ton in Paraná and R$ 1,425/ton in Rio Grande do Sul. Due to the intense export flow, the latter has seen a decrease in wheat shipments. With the summer crop occupying logistics and a defensive strategy by producers, wheat is currently not a priority. Out of the 6.010 million tons produced in Rio Grande do Sul, 69% has been committed for various purposes, leaving only 670,000 tons for sale beyond the state.
