The USDA has lowered its estimate for yellow grain production to 943.73 million tonnes, largely due to a decrease in Brazilian production, which could potentially position the United States as a leading corn exporter. Despite stable corn production in Ukraine, its export capacity has risen. The USDA has also increased its assessment of global soya stocks, but lowered its estimate for Brazilian soybean production. While global wheat production has been revised upwards, world stocks have slightly decreased.
