The article highlights a successful partnership between Ningbo City's Jiangbei District and Guizhou Province's Liheng County, aimed at uplifting poverty-stricken households by introducing new industries and technologies. The collaboration has led to the establishment of a Hong Kong vegetable base in Ceheng County, covering 1,000 acres and specializing in Cantonese cabbage, with a capacity to process 10 tons daily for export to Hong Kong. This initiative has significantly boosted the local farmers' income, with 730 out of 752 impoverished households in Tanping Village achieving poverty alleviation. The plan includes an investment of 7.6 million yuan to expand across five dam areas in Ceheng County, with expectations to double the income of farmers through the cultivation of additional vegetables. The initiative adopts a market-based approach, with the goal of fully integrating into the Hong Kong supply market and further strengthening the poverty alleviation efforts by providing sustainable livelihoods and promoting rural revitalization.
