[Agricultural and Fisheries Cooperatives News=Reporter Ju Sang-ho] Yeongnam Horticultural Farmers' Association (President Kim Seong-kwan) recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Gimhae Flower Comprehensive Distribution Center, establishing itself as the center of the South Korean flower industry. The Yeongnam Horticultural Farmers' Association's Gimhae Flower Comprehensive Distribution Center is expected to mark a new milestone in regional flower distribution, heralding a leap for the flower industry in the southern region, including Gimhae. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Representative Min Hong-cheol (Democratic Party, Gimhae-gap), Gimhae Mayor Hong Tae-yong, Gyeongnam Provincial Assembly Chairman Choi Hak-beom, Gimhae City Council members, as well as Kang Ho-dong, President of the National Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives, and association presidents Kang Bok-won (Jinju Horticultural Farmers' Association), Oh Heung-seok (Jirasaen Cheonghak Farmers' Association), Lee Jae-sik (Pukyeong Pig Farmers' Association), and Gu Bon-kwon (Asan Horticultural Farmers' Association).
