Yerba mate: around 200 hectares were affected by the rains in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil

A meeting of Recupera Rural RS, a program organized by Embrapa, brought together researchers and extension technicians to discuss the impacts of the heavy rains that hit Rio Grande do Sul and the consequences for the yerba mate sector. The discussions focused on losses in yerba mate production, the recovery of affected areas and the need for joint actions to minimize damage. The meeting was held during the 3rd Erva-mate XXI Seminar, organized by Embrapa Florestas, in Curitiba (PR).
