The company has cold storage facilities where the fruits are stored before shipment. The facilities have controlled temperature and humidity.

Mangoes are stored into strong carton boxes, which are piled into pallets (210) boxes per pallet) And shipment is done into cooled containers with a temperature of 13.5 degrees Celsius (56,3 degrees Fahrenheit).

Bananas are stored into strong carton boxes (38-45LBS), then pilled on pallets (48-54 boxes per pallet). And the shipment is done into cooled containers with a temperature of 13 degrees Celsius (55 degrees Fahrenheit).

The company is USDA, FDA, PACA, Global GAP, Senasica, Agricultura, and Certimix certified, and follows the procedures and process stipulated in them to maintain quality inspections, food security standards, and hygiene standards.

The company has an annual production of about 300 containers of mangoes per year of each variety with a production area of 300 ha. The cultivation type is conventional and also organic for the Ataulfo variety. The production, harvesting, and processing follows the standards set by USDA, FDA, PACA, Global GAP, Senasica, Agricultura, and Certimix.

Alvarez Farms offers mangoes of the following varieties: Tommy Atkins, Haden, Kent, Keitt (6 -12 pieces per box), Ataulfo (Honey), and Ataulfo – Organic (12-22 pieces per box). Mexican mangoes are known for their fresh taste, fragrance, and extremely attractive color. The sweetness is from 7-12.5 depending on the degree of maturity. The flesh of the mangoes is orange with fine texture and juicy sweet flavor. The color depends on the variety and can be from dark green to vivid red.
