Vietnam's livestock product exports are projected to reach $515 million in 2023, with pork exports estimated to increase by 28% to $63.3 million. The country is expected to export 12,276 tons of pigs and import 114 thousand tons of pork, with imports of edible pork byproducts set to increase by 77%. Additionally, Vietnam is anticipated to import 16.8 million tons of animal feed raw materials, worth $6.8 billion, including corn, bagasse, wheat, barley, DDGS, bran, broken rice, soybeans, and supplementary foods.
