Domestically, Vietnamese pepper prices remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations in key provinces, such as Đắk Lắk, Đắk Nông and Gia Lai. Rising prices have spurred farmer enthusiasm but raised concerns about market volatility and shifts in agricultural practices, impacting cultivation areas and outputs. Overall, the white pepper market reflected stability amidst evolving dynamics and challenges in the sector.
On April 6, Indonesia's white pepper prices experienced a slight increase while remaining stable in other major producing countries like Malaysia, Brazil, and Vietnam. Muntok white pepper prices increased by 0.31% week-on-week (WoW) to USD 6,179/mt. Domestically, Vietnamese pepper prices remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations in key provinces.
