Chicken Egg Prices in South Korea Experience Fastest YoY Growth in 15 Months

Wholesale prices of extra-large chicken eggs in South Korea, rose 6% month-over-month and 18% year-over-year to KRW 5,841.5/30 pieces in the week starting December 12, 2022. This was the fastest YoY growth pace since September 2021.
Prices have rising on the back of fear over a potential worsening of avian flu cases.
