Unstable Weather Influences Spanish Strawberry Prices

The wholesale price of fresh strawberries in Spain plummeted by 33.89% YoY to USD 2.16/kg in W2 of April 2022. The price in the previous year during the same period was USD 3.27/kg. The low quality of strawberries was mostly influenced by the price. Factors such as heavy rain and frost negatively affected the strawberry quality.
