The growth of Thai ginger is driven by demand in Asian countries

Thai ginger exports are now recovering after most of their major importers increased their imports in 2020, moreover, Pakistan's demand appears to bounce back after a -66.31% decline in the 2017-2020 period. Other Asian countries with positive growth rates are Japan and Hong Kong. Now Asia has started consuming more ginger from Thailand. Thailand's ginger export growth in Asia in contrast to a decrease in demand from the US. Although recently the US itself is actively importing ginger from other major exporters, now the country prefers India and Ecuador over Thailand.
