VLI, the operator of the Inácio Barbosa Maritime Terminal (TMIB) in Sergipe, Brazil, has made history by executing the first corn export shipment from the terminal, with a total of 60 thousand tons scheduled for the North American market between June and July. This development is part of the company's strategy to position TMIB as a key outlet for Brazilian agribusiness. The terminal, which has seen a 31.8% increase in handling volume between 2018 and 2020, is capable of processing a variety of commodities, including grains, steel inputs, and other industrial goods, making it a crucial hub for the country's logistics network.
