Farmers in Crimea have begun harvesting gourds and watermelons, with over 500 hectares of land dedicated to melon and gourd cultivation. One farmer, Sorokin, is growing watermelons on a pumpkin rootstock and plans to take advantage of state support to build a greenhouse for growing seedlings. As of July 25, approximately 700 tons of melons have already been harvested, exceeding last year's yields by 30 tons.
