Lobsters are the most valued seafood in Canada and are also exported to over 50 countries around the globe. Canadian lobsters which are caught from the cold and clear waters of the Atlantic Coast are of premium quality which is admired by retailers, restaurants, and consumers around the world.
We are offering two types of Lobsters; Hard Shell and Soft Shell. Hardshell lobsters are packed more with meat as they have grown to the full capacity of their shells. Their meat has excellent flavor with a firmer texture than soft shell lobsters. Softshell lobsters are lobsters that have just molted. Their meat is known to be sweet and tender in texture.
Canada’s strict regulations and licensing for seafood products are determined by the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR) which is enforced by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). With the high standards that are set for quality management, food handling, processing, and inspection, products from Canada are able to meet the premium quality standards that consumers seek for.
Lobsters are harvested from several provinces across the eastern region of Canada. The Canadian Lobsters that Tridge offers are harvested from Nova Scotia from the most active regions.
We work with only the time of the line lobster suppliers. Because of their rigourous quality control standards, we are not only able to provide the highest quality lobster; but, also a wide range of sizes.
