Our Frozen Vannamei Shrimp from Indonesia

With 17,504 islands, Indonesia is the world’s largest archipelagic country, located between the Indian and Pacific oceans. This favorable geographic location has helped Indonesia become one of the largest sources and producers of marine and fisheries products such as shrimp, reaching its seafood export value of over USD 1.3 billion annually with shrimp exports accounting for around 35% of the total seafood export value.

In the recent year, Indonesia surpassed Thailand and Vietnam to position itself as the third leading exporter of shrimp followed by China and India. The main destination markets for Indonesian shrimp are the US and Japan, with the US accounting for around 60%.

Tridge’s Vannamei shrimps are offered in Frozen (IQF) form, and they are 100% net weight, meaning we don’t freeze the shrimp with any additional water. We are currently offering two processed styles of Vannamei shrimps: peeled and deveined (PND) & peeled and deveined with tail on (PDTO). Our Vannamei shrimp is usually offered in a 40 FT Reefer container, and each container can transport around 14 to 17 metric tons of frozen shrimp.

Besides the Vannamei shrimps, we are also offering Sea-caught Pink Shrimp and Black Tiger Shrimp, and they are usually offered in Block Frozen options. However, upon request, they can be provided in Frozen (IQF) form. All of Tridge’s shrimp products are packed in 5 or 10 kg carton boxes.
