Afrilogis LLC

The idea of Afrilogis initially generated from a request made to founder Ashraf Issa-Samarou by his family to help facilitate the purchase of soybean meal, fishmeal and corn feed for their chicken farm and slaughterhouse in 2018. Within the same month, several additional requests came to him to help facilitate the purchase of other items such as sugar and rice, in large quantities. It became apparent that there was a large market for these commodities , inspiring him to create Afrilogis Brokerage LLC. Established in 2019, the company was created with the goal of bringing select agricultural products to people who need them all around the world. We deal with the following products: Sugar, Soybeans, Wheat and Corn.

In 2020, the company evolved and started securing supply for NON GMO and Organic Soybeans, Sesame , Shea Butter/Shea Olein and Cashews in West and East Africa, to resell to customers all over the globe. We do so by partnering with farmers and storage facilities in those countries, and bringing them to you, the customer.

Navigating the commodity market is quite complicated and can be very frustrating for many reasons. There are countless cases of scamming and purported suppliers who are not able to deliver.

As a trading/reselling company, we aim to make your experience in the purchase of agricultural commodities the least challenging possible, as we have already done the work upfront in finding reliable sources of supply, and already having available to you the best pricing and service. Customer service from large corporations and trading companies is often nonexistent. In some other cases it is just dry. As a small company, we thrive on the fact that you are not just customer X, but in the fact that we will cater to your needs on a personal level. You are family.

We pride ourselves in developing our own sources of supply for some commodities. This effort is incessant as we always look for ways to better serve our customers. For others, we leverage our established relationships with those large corporations to ensure that you are able to buy your product, worry free and without the red tape.

Additionally, the company has now evolved into doing more than just exporting and trading agricultural commodities. We have also started a division that is involved in exporting snacks made in Togo under the brand name “Sokode”. Our first product is “roasted peanuts”, made with organic crops, transforming them at the point of production, and supporting jobs in the

country of origin. This gives the Togolese more ownership of the process, allowing them to reap more benefits from their work.
