Arctic Milk entrepreneur, CEO and cheesemaker Juha Lundström started his dairy business in Kiuruvesi in 2010. Juha got to know the dairy business in his early childhood, in his Karvoskylä in Nivala, when his grandmother worked on a dairy farm in the local village. Juha's holiday work took him several summers on a cooperative dairy farm in Nivarra. Juha then went to Hämeenlinna via a pastoral school, attended a milk school and learned life lessons from his grandma.
"Work hard so that you will not be ashamed."
Today, the main location for dairy products is in Ipaya, and the dairy itself is in Forssa, where a variety of high quality and delicious cheeses are produced. Goat milk products are made in Kiuruvesi, while consumer packaging is made in Forssa. The milk required for cheese production is sourced from local milk producers. Of course, the recipe is from a master cheesemaker.
