Our 2014 Tempranillo "Reserve", sourced exclusively from the Walla Walla Valley, is carefully blended to showcase the varietal's signature characteristics. Dark and dense aromas of blackberry, prune, cassis, and baking spices are enveloped by an overall impression of soft smoke and black pepper. Beautifully aromatic with notes of sweet orange peel, raspberry flesh, black currant, and sugar drizzled strawberry. Employing a modest selection of New French Oak, the wine shows nuances of medium toast, fine grain tannin, bread crust, and light smoke. The mouth feel is lush and velvety, marked by a pleasant fresh acidity.

This vintage iteration of Garnacha (the Spanish equivalent of Grenache) is 100% varietal from the Summit View Vineyard above the basalt stone soils of Milton-Freewater, Oregon. Ripe and heady, the nose exudes cherry and strawberry leather, toasted barrel notes, and spicy cinnamon. The medium plus body is filled with a middle of sweet red cherry and strawberry preserves, with fine-grained dusty tannins to provide balance. This big, structure driven Garnacha will stand the test of time in your cellar. Drink now through 2028.
