With Hungarian shareholders, the Tofer Élelmiszerferttlent Kft launched its egg disinfection company in 1997. Ozone will be created from oxygen during the egg disinfection process using ODS-1, the foundation of which is a special patent introduced in Hungary. The right dose of ozone will kill the bacteria on the egg shell. Since this disinfection procedure does not in any way contaminate the environment because at the end of the disinfection cycle the ozone will be converted back into oxygen, it most effectively satisfies the primary necessity of our day, the protection of the environment.
Hotels, public catering, confectioneries, and caterers all frequently use our products. Users of eggs treated with ozone will be released from their duties of cleaning eggs for disinfection using other techniques, which contaminate the environment. The eggs that are delivered to our business are chosen by automatic sorters, are properly tagged, and come from licensed farmers. For their eggs, our suppliers provide a quality guarantee. We implement a stringent HACCP food safety system at our organization throughout the entire production process. Due to ongoing increases in our production capacity, we are able to do an increasing number of disinfection jobs for other businesses.
